The Vessel Manager will be responsible for managing specific company-owned vessels, ensuring compliance with international standards, and reporting to the Installation Fleet Manager.The Vessel Manager's responsibilities include cost monitoring, contractual management, and collaborating with technical teams on modifications to vessel layouts and cable equipment for specific projects.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure fleet expenses align with the annual Management Plan, including fixed costs, non-recurring expenses, investments, and personnel plans.Assist in creating the Management Plan and multi-year investment plans for vessels under responsibility.Maintain control over the purchasing process through the ship management company, including RFQ, authorization, and invoice verification.Supervise offshore staff resourcing, considering crewing is managed by the ship management company.Coordinate with suppliers and shipyards for equipment and vessel services, ensuring timely delivery within budget.Collaborate with technical teams on modifications and equipment provisions related to vessel operations and projects.Ensure vessel documentation and certificates are maintained according to industry standards and accessible to relevant departments.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEProven maritime environment experience and ship management practices.Knowledge of Marine regulations (ISM, SOLAS, CDM, ISPS, MARPOL).3-5 years’ experience as a ship technical superintendent or similar role.Understanding of Offshore Subsea Construction techniques and HSE practices.Commitment to personal safety and safe work practices per company procedures.WHAT WE OFFERPermanent contractHealth insuranceSupport for public transportationAnnual bonus and stock optionsRespectful, dynamic workplaceSELECTION PROCESSThe process includes four steps : application, HR interview, hiring manager interview, and online assessment.
