Currently, we are seeking a Sales Lead Italy to strengthen our commerce team in Italy.Your opportunity :You’ll help Mollie grow by leading an exceptionally high-performing Direct Sales team in Italy, responsible for achieving sales targets across small businesses, mid-market, and large companies. As a hands-on team leader, you will manage the team and actively bring in customers.As a natural sales leader, you’ll inspire and motivate both junior and senior sales talent to prospect, creatively leverage our product to meet client needs, and close deals. You’ll report to the VP of Sales, Annett Polaszewski-Plath, and are accountable to the Head of Expansion, Rick Emondts. You will collaborate closely with local and central teams.What you'll be doing :Develop, recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.Lead and motivate your team to meet and exceed sales targets.Manage your own sales pipeline, close larger deals, and achieve your quota.Monitor performance metrics and suggest improvements.Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management.Develop and execute a localized sales strategy aligned with company goals and market opportunities.Collaborate with Partnerships, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams for go-to-market strategies.Establish and manage key client relationships and lead negotiations on major deals.Gather customer feedback for product improvements or new offerings.Represent the company in PR and speaking engagements as opportunities arise.What you will bring :5-7 years of sales experience, including 2-3 years in leadership or management roles (SaaS or fintech experience is a plus).Proven success in achieving sales quotas individually and as a team.Strong leadership and motivational skills.Effective communication and presentation skills.Analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to develop and maintain relationships with C-Level executives.Fluent in Italian and English.Benefits :MacBookBirthday offComplimentary baby days20 days working from abroad22 holiday daysHealth insuranceEquity plansReferral bonusLearning platformWork from home budgetHow we hire ApplyOur Talent Acquisition team and hiring manager will review your application and respond within 2 weeks.Step 2 : Screening callIf your profile matches, we’ll invite you for a screening call to get to know each other better.Step 3 : Are you the one?You will have two or more interviews.
