Sales Coordinator - Milan Marriott HotelBusiness unit CommercialeSedi Italia / MilanoJob SummaryWe are seeking a strong and enthusiastic SALES COORDINATOR based in Milan to join our growing Cluster TeamYou will be responsible for assisting the Sales Team in administrative tasks based on commercial objectives and aligned with the sales plan and marketing strategy.We are looking for an energetic candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, with a passion for service and hospitality.Responding to the Director of Business Development.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for providing coordination and providing full administration and operational assistance to the sales team.Conduct sales researches and collect data to prepare reports and documentsIdentify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximise revenueBe the first point of contact for all sales related enquiries, providing administrative support liaising with other hotel departments and maintaining the relevant aspects of the sales databases.Assist in qualifying leads, sending out sales proposals, converting enquires working closely with the sales teamAssist with preparation and follow-up of sales trips, clients events, workshopsProactively look for new sales opportunities and cross-sell at all timesConduct client site inspections of the propertyCoordinate with all the hotels and specific departments within the hotel to ensure distribution of important informationProvide administrative duties as required by Director of Business Development. Assist with preparation and follow-up of sales tripsProvide support in updating sales materials (promotional flyers, sales demo kit.) and update customer databaseCreate and manage Company and Travel Agent profiles on the property management system.Track enquiries and revenues in line with the processes in placeSkill & KnowledgeThis is the ideal role for someone wanting to develop a career in the hotel sale & marketing department. While the primary responsibilities are administrative, you will gain exposure to both reactive and proactive sales, as well as an understanding of all market sectors (MICE, corporate and leisure) and support with data analysis, qualifying leads and assisting in show rounds and sales events.You will be passionate about the hotel industry and keep informed on local and global industry trends and best practices.High level of IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and WordProactive approach to meeting deadlines and targetsExcellent organisational and administration skills1-2 years of experience in sales, events or booking environmentAble to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.Excellent communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced team environment, adjust to changing prioritiesSelf-starter and strong collaborator - be friendly, customer centric, smile and able to work in a team environmentMust be able to work independently and demonstrate the ability to take initiativeTo apply, send your curriculum vitae with photo and authorization to process personal data D.
