Manufacturing and product development activities are located in the US, Europe (Italy), and Asia, with sales and distribution locations strategically positioned globally to best serve regional markets. The company currently employs around 760 team members.
We are seeking a professional for the following position:
HR Business Partner Italy
The successful candidate will be responsible for HR operations at two Italian sites, fostering the company culture and implementing the global P & O strategy into local policies and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
Executing the HR strategy as outlined by the Regional & Global HR Manager, including updating and recommending human resource policies and ensuring legal compliance.
Establishing and maintaining good relationships with unions (internal and external).
Managing recruitment and development processes, maintaining up-to-date job descriptions, and overseeing recruitment activities.
Ensuring personnel administration is current and managing time and attendance records.
Evaluating, implementing, maintaining, and administering employee benefits programs.
Desired skills and qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or Law, with relevant HR experience.
At least 7 years of experience as a P & O Manager in a complex, dynamic industrial environment, including experience with strong union representation.
Knowledge of local laws, regulations, and Chemical CCNL.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Reliable, accurate, with good communication, empathy, problem-solving skills, and the ability to set priorities, plan, and organize.
Job site: Plant Pavia near the R & D office west of Milan.
