About the RoleAs an Underwriting Associate, you'll be at the heart of our operations, collaborating closely with local E&C Underwriters, EMEA Operations teams, and peers across Europe. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth processing of specialized insurance business, particularly focusing on Engineering and Construction projects like industrial plants, infrastructure, and civil works.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate information in systems and tools, including documents and process changes for E&S specific projectsReview and collect insurance and legal documentation and reflect corresponding terms and conditions into systemsFollow-up on outstanding documents or items according to established guidelinesEngage regularly with external customers including brokers and insuredsPrepare and process policies, certificates and all other contractual documentationCollaborate on the development of Standard Operating Procedures and system improvementsCoordinate with team members across different locationsSupport the preparation of international program structures in collaboration with Underwriting Analysts and underwritersAbout the TeamYou will be joining the local Italian team based in Milan, having a variety of proficiencies, skills and experience, all committed to bring success to Swiss Re Corporate Solutions.
