Overview: Reports to the Completion Turnover Manager and is responsible for coordinating the development of system packages and handover documentation. The Turnover Coordinator coordinates walk downs and punch list activities for Mechanical Completion, Ready for Commissioning, and Ready for Start-Up during the EPC project execution in accordance with the approved Completions Plan and procedures. The role works with the Project team and Client to maintain positive relationships. A solid understanding of key engineering drawings for systemization and completion activities is essential. The candidate should have strong analytical skills and attention to detail with experience in data manipulation. Knowledge of PMIS/PCOS is a plus. The position is initially office based for around 15 months in Milan, Italy before transferring to Site until handover of a two-train LNG facility at RFSU.
Responsibilities
Understand and implement the Completions Plan for the project.
Coordinate completion activities between Completions, Quality, Construction, Commissioning and Client personnel; monitor field activities in an orderly manner according to commissioning priorities.
Ensure Construction and Commissioning Completion Check Sheets are completed and signed off in the CMS Database.
Ensure the Project Item list is correctly reflected inside CMS Database according to engineering data.
Steer coordination meetings with an emphasis on overall optimization of system completion or alternate solutions to mitigate issues.
Ensure all punch items and preservation activities are completed and signed off in the CMS Database.
Compile completion work packs and coordinate pre-walk down team meetings and follow-up meetings as necessary.
Coordinate the preparation and upkeep of Master Punch Lists and Exception Lists for each package.
Compile Turnover Packages electronically or in hard copy as per contractual obligations.
Set up and populate progress reports for Mechanical Completion for distribution.
Liaise with Project Controls to monitor look-ahead completion activities of all Construction and Commissioning activities on site.
Assist the Site QA/QC group in compiling project final handover documentation for submission to Client.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years’ experience on EPC projects as a completions specialist/coordinator/administrator.
Experience in the Oil & Gas industry in a Completions position.
Experience with PMIS/PCOS is preferred; other Completions Management Systems will be considered.
Broad technical knowledge of construction, commissioning and start-up activities.
Thorough understanding of handover, walk-down and punch listing processes, and of compiling system/handover packages.
Good understanding of preservation and maintenance activities.
Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to engineers and non-engineers.
Strong computer skills (MS Office) and ability to mark up drawings.
Good presentation and organizational skills; able to adapt to multiple discipline needs.
Ability to assess and communicate project requirements clearly and productively.
Willingness and ability to travel to project JV locations and project sites on a rotational basis.
English proficiency; multilingual skills are a plus.
