OverviewTraining Specialist Job DescriptionAt Amazon, our mission is to be the most customer-centric company on earth. Amazon Last Mile learning team is seeking a Training Specialist to support operations trainings for the last mile vertical. The role includes boosting the competencies of our employees by developing and conducting effective training programs, and will indirectly help enhance workplace performance in alignment with the company’s core values. This role may require travel for business purposes. Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative action employer.
Responsibilities

Supervise structured learning metrics and oversee their results for the assigned territory and region.
Manage live performance metrics end to end for the assigned territory.
Conduct learning sessions on new processes as well as BQM through ITL or digital learning as required. Deliver various training courses as part of continuous learning.
Maintain data and analysis through reports in Excel as per business requirements.
Ensure completion of new hire training programs, coaching, and other performance improvement programs on time.
Partner with operations leaders while conducting station audits to check process compliance and fix gaps promptly.
Identify learning coaches and certify them.
Lead individual improvement projects to enhance business performance.
Drive quality and learning metrics.
Conduct chime sessions and classroom sessions for stakeholders.

A day in the life

Track day-to-day business metrics and plan visits to mapped stations for metric improvement.
Provide daily reports and progress updates.
Engage with mapped LA/LGs for daily L&D activities.

Basic Qualifications

Experience in customer service and handling projects is advantageous.
Ability to translate content and add voice-over in regional languages.
Support existing data management through analysis and accurate reporting.
Ability to present intricate information to varied audiences.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Graduate in any field.
Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work on weekends if required by business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Training Specialist/Trainer in a similar role.
