This is a hands-on position where your daily activities will range from strategic planning to new system development to supporting the customers that depend on our services. Deliver consistent, well-defined results in an agile systems development workflow. To succeed in this role, you will deliver reliable, scalable, controlled working environments built on AWS.Key job responsibilitiesManage and maintain Kuiper's SAP Infrastructure, focus area supporting printing (queues, networking, static/mobile)Collaborate directly with customers to understand their unique use cases and implement tailored solutionsImplement and improve observability measures across the team's infrastructureImplement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for all managed systemsApply DevOps best practices to improve system reliability, scalability, and securityTroubleshoot complex issues across various platforms and servicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure improvements with business needsStay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in system administration and DevOpsDocument processes, configurations, and system architecturesMentor junior team members in system administration and DevOps practicesParticipate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system availability and supportExport Control Requirements: Due to the need to access certain federal controlled information, you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.A day in the lifeIn this role, you will function as a DevOps Engineer. You will operate and support the team's services, as well as developing automation for upgrades/patching/testing, and enhance observability of the systems. You will work with stakeholders and senior engineers to design and develop custom solutions and integrations between tools and other services in a secure manner.About the teamKPE builds and operates the core productivity solutions supporting Kuiper’s operations and engagements with business partners. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
