OverviewBased in Milan and reporting to the Surety Team, you will be in charge of developing and executing the strategy for the Constructors and Corporate Client risks into the Italian market. With strong ties to the Group, you will also support the local strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the Allianz Mid Corporate targets. You will be also the contact person for agents and/or brokers.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure underwriters comply with underwriting authority, pricing and rating guidelinesSteer and control the portfolio at local level to drive the achievement of financial targetsProactively liaise with functional areas to review performance of end to end underwriting life cycleWork closely with Sales departments, Engineering, Claims and other product lines to achieve key marketing strategies, including cross-sellingEnsure underwriting consistency and underwriting discipline and adherence to all corporate guidelines and authority levels, including Rules and Principles, Underwriting Authorities, corporate governance rules and local regulatory frameworkSupport the acquisition of new business and retention of existing business (including agent and broker negotiations)Communicate local business strategy externallyKey Requirements/Skills/ExperienceMaster\'s degree in EconomicsAt least 3 to 5 years\' proven experience in underwriting profitable Surety for corporate clients and constructors.Proven leadership skillsExpertise in risk assessment and a firm understanding of policy administration life cycleSound knowledge of pricing, together with strong market analysis skillsIdeally experience in balance sheet analysisIdeally experience in driving underwriting projectsAble to work in an international organizationFluent in English (both written and spoken)Data analyticsVery good knowledge in Office 365 and other collaborative toolsAbout AllianzAllianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
