We are seeking a customer-obsessed Solution Architect with experience in migrating and modernizing on-premises workloads to cloud, and with the commercial awareness to position AWS as the cloud provider. This role focuses on the French region as part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), supporting revenue, adoption, and growth from mid-market to enterprise accounts including public sector. The Infrastructure Modernization Solution Architect will help drive solutions for customers migrating workloads typically residing on VMware on-premise solutions to AWS native technologies via VMware migration pathways, and will have knowledge of Microsoft technologies (e.g., .NET) for modernizing workloads, as well as Linux and container solutions.Key responsibilitiesWork alongside your aligned business development manager to provide business support, develop go-to-market motions, and scaling mechanisms within the France region.Represent the voice of the customer; collaborate with field and France teams to bring customer feedback to product teams.Provide specialist technical knowledge to your aligned specialist teams to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.Collaborate with Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) teams to provide technical insights into GTM strategy and support field marketing to execute local technical events, campaigns, and customer engagements.Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re:Invent.Create internal field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them understand how to migrate VMware on-premise datacenters to AWS migration pathways.Become an active member and contributor to the AWS Technical Field Community (TFC) within your specialist domain.About the teamDiverse Experiences: AWS values diverse experiences.
