Key accountabilities
Analyse software requirements to plan appropriate tests
Plan tests, defining scenarios, parameters and acceptance criteria for software validation
Write and execute Tests
Highlight any software defects
Collaborate with developers to analyse problems and direct resolution
Coordinate, maintain and evolve automatic test batteries and test automation methods, increasing requirements coverage
Collaborate in analysing and addressing Incidents
Must-Have Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering
At least 5 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on financial or trading applications
Proven expertise of test methodologies, both for manual and automated testing
Knowledge of test management tools such as X-Ray
Ability to design and implement comprehensive test plans and complex test cases
Proficiency with test automation tools (e.g., Tosca, Selenium, Cypress)
Ability to collaborate with other teams (DEV,AM,TAM) to analyze / solve end-to-end problems
In-depth understanding of trade lifecycle and financial markets
Proactive mindset toward continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
Excellent communication and relationship skills with teams and external stakeholders
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, proactivity and autonomy within the team
Excellent knowledge of the English language
Nice-to-Have Skills / Qualifications / Experience
Understanding of FIX protocol and real-time financial messaging systems
Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for enhanced automation
Familiarity with version control and CI / CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Atlassian suite)
Experience with performance testing tools for NFT (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience using cloud test farms offered by AWS
Internationally recognized software quality / testing certification (e.g. ISTQB);
SQL know-how for data validation
Hands-on experience with trading platforms, Order Management Systems (OMS), or market data feeds
