If yes, then joins us by applying now!The positionAs a Senior Procurement Specialist at Novo Nordisk, you will lead strategic procurement initiatives, ensuring rigorous compliance with policies and regulations while managing complex contract negotiations. Your role will involve mentoring junior staff and driving process improvements to optimize procurement operations and supplier relationships.Your main responsibilities will include:Lead and manage the procurement function, ensuring robust adherence to processes, compliance standards, and ethical sourcing practicesServe as a key partner for internal stakeholders, proactively following up on acquisitions and internal procedures to ensure that all commitments and project schedules are met. By acting as a bridge between procurement and stakeholders, you will help drive alignment and accountability across the organization, ensuring seamless execution.Conduct comprehensive supplier assessments and performance evaluations, fostering strong partnerships and driving continuous improvement initiativesDevelop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, acting as a primary point of contact for contract-related matters, and fostering partnerships that contribute to long-term valueMonitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations, driving corrective actions when necessaryA strong focus will be to implement and manage compliance frameworks within the procurement process, regularly auditing contracts and vendor relations to ensure adherence to policies and regulations.Furthermore, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify procurement needs, defining specifications, and sourcing strategies that deliver quality outcomes, also by analysing market trends and gathering competitive intelligence to inform procurement strategies and negotiate favourable terms with suppliers.This role will allow you be part of an unprecedented expansion and innovation project in the pharmaceutical industry, and you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our organization.QualificationsThe ideal candidate has a proven track record of leading complex negotiations and managing high-stakes contracts effectively and an in-depth understanding of procurement regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.To succeed in this role, you:Hold an academic degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related fieldHave 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain managementHave been involved in CAPEX projectsHave advanced proficiency in procurement software and tools, alongside strong skills in Microsoft Office applicationsAre fluent in Italian and English both written and spokenPrevious experiences withing the pharmaceutical industry will be seen as an advantage.On a personal level, you showcase strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build and maintain relationships across various stakeholders. You also have analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions.About The DepartmentThis position is part of the Procurement & Finance team within the Project Organization.
