NewCold Ferentino is NewCold's automated cold storage facility. It supports the production and supply chain activities of leading food processors in the region. The empowered NewCold Ferentino operations team is responsible for safely operating, maintaining the cold store, and providing excellent logistics services to our customers.Main ResponsibilitiesEnsure all electrical and mechanical systems (e.g., cooling system, conveyors, cranes) are maintained and functioning at a high level to maximize operational efficiency.Follow maintenance plans according to priorities set by the maintenance coordinator.Update records of maintenance tasks completed and ensure all routine works are checked.Report any problems to the manager.Maintain a good inventory of engineering spare parts, tools, and equipment according to weekly plans.Respond efficiently to breakdown conditions to minimize equipment downtime.Liaise with maintenance suppliers' workers to assess the impact of breakdown events.Under breakdown conditions, advise management on options to resolve issues.Manage height operations and rescue activities safely.Work safely at all times and report any safety concerns.Follow all procedures according to legislation, company QHSE policies, and working instructions.Provide support for structural site maintenance tasks (e.g., doors retrieval, panels, hydraulics, green areas).
