We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day.About the role:As a Heat Treatment Operator, you will set up and operate heat treating equipment (Furnace) to complete post-welding thermal treatment and localized thermal treatment.You will report to the Nuclear Fabrication Manager and be located at Monfalcone, Italy. You will work onsite.ResponsibilitiesFurnace or localized equipment preparation: Prepare furnace or localized thermal treatment equipment for operations and conduct prestart up checks.Operate furnace or localized heat treatment equipment to procedure, monitor heating and cooling cycles, adjust and control temperatures and heating times by reading temperature instruments and charts.Detect faulty operation of the furnace or localized heat treatment equipment and notify supervisors.Disconnect furnace or localized heat treatment equipment and return components to storage locations.Move parts or furnace components into position, manually or with hoists or cranes.QualificationsProfessional School DiplomaMinimum 5 years' experience#LI-OnsiteWhy Westinghouse?We know that to put forth your best effort, you need to be challenged and enjoy what you do in a supportive and respectful environment.
