Off-White is looking for a Senior Developer, Fabrics, to support in sourcing and developing new materials based on design requirements for all collections. You will report to the Head of Fabrics & Trims R&D and expand the suppliers’ portfolio and sourcing baseWHAT YOU'LL DOUnderstand the fabrics and yarns and fiber types inherent propertiesLiaise with suppliers and the merchandising team for product requirements, pricing and quality (for both Men's and Women's collections)Provide a wide range of solutions in terms of quality, e.g. color matchingMonitor fabric and product development; working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely deliveryDevelop the seasonal / trend boards for the design teamSource new materials / suppliers based on the Brand's requirementsEnsure fabrics meet the Brand's expectations in terms of quality and priceDay to day coordination with suppliers and product developers on the progress of the seasonal collectionEnsure seasonal materials are fulfilled on time and with the right quality and quantityWHO YOU ARE5+ years in a similar role preferably in a luxury fashion brandExcellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office particularly ExcelExcellent knowledge and use of Adobe package – InDesign and IllustratorAbility to manage stress and pay close attention to detailExcellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressureAbility to work proactively, independently on multiple projects under tight timeframesHighly organized, flexible with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced everchanging environmentFluent in English and Italian, written and spoken
