We are structured into verticals (business topics) and promote knowledge sharing in between those topics every week. In our team, a Business Intelligence Engineer can be responsible for 1 or more business verticals, driving his BI projects end to end, this involves: setting up the BI roadmap, managing stakeholders, diving deep on data for that topic and designing and building SQL Tables, KPIs, reports, dashboards and analysis.Basic Qualifications10+ years of professional or military experience6+ years of SQL experienceExperience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi‑TB) data setsExperience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar toolsExperience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skillsExperience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadershipExperience building measures and metrics, and developing reporting solutionsPreferred QualificationsExperience with statistical analytics and programming languages such as R, Python, Ruby, etc.Experience using Cloud Storage and Computing technologies such as AWS Redshift, S3, Hadoop, etc.Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of resultsKnowledge of data warehousing and data modelingAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
