Job Title: Senior Accountant
On behalf of our client, a well-established and expanding audit firm, GRS Recruitment is seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their growing team in Nicosia. Main Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain books and records and manage a portfolio of clients (both local and mainly international businesses).
Have good knowledge and understanding of VAT legislation.
Deal with complex accounting transactions and advise on record-keeping.
Liaise with auditors and ensure the accuracy of accounting information to be handed over.
Review and oversee a portfolio of accounting clients (depending on experience level).
Train and coach new trainee employees.
Prepare audit files and financial statements (using Caseware) for submission to auditors.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related field.
ACCA/ACA qualification or part-qualified candidates will be considered an advantage.
Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience in client accounting.
Excellent command of Greek and English languages.
