About The Role
The role of the Account Manager (AM) is to manage the end-to-end clinical sales process for specific customer segments by identifying commercial opportunities in the region, managing account planning across the customer base and driving the execution of regional and local sales strategies.
The purpose of the AM position is to drive business growth, broaden BSC’s market share, as well as secure product positioning and ensure market penetration, focusing commercial activity on both clinical and economic stakeholders.
This remote field-based role is part of the Endoscopy team and requires daily travel to support clients in the area of Lombardia, in Italy.
In This Role You Will Be Responsible To

Contribute to the development of the annual strategic plan by providing the Regional Sales Manager or the National Sales Manager and Marketing with detailed business intelligence for accounts in scope (e.g. market size and potential, market/product trends, business opportunities, competitive landscape, updated clinical and economic stakeholders).
Understand account’s unmet needs and expectations and consistently develop detailed account plans, supporting Regional Sales Manager in Top Tier 1 accounts while autonomously performing the activity in other Tier 1, Tier 2 and (Tier 3, if applicable) accounts.
Design and execute sales strategies and activities for accounts in scope, accordingly to account plans and in compliance with national and regional targets.
Develop the stakeholder map, define touchpoints and action plans for each of them and ensure account information is timely updated into systems.
Support and perform clinical activities within the different Accounts, in ORs and hospital theaters, with the possibility to train physicians and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) on the product portfolio.
Based on interactions with Key Opinion Leaders, clinical and economic stakeholders and clinical support, gather information about next tenders and negotiation opportunities.
Plan and prepare tender/proposal based on account situation and understanding.
Participate in negotiations, where applicable, and, in collaboration with the Tender Office, prepare administrative documents and input requested by the customer.
Develop the deal model, supporting Regional Sales Manager in Top Tier 1 accounts.
Timely reach out to the customer regarding new agreements, performing sales visits and contextually identifying new sales opportunities to drive future business growth.
Perform periodic update with respective Sales Force and Quarterly Business Review meetings with Regional Sales Manager, leveraging monitoring and reporting content to ensure effective sales process delivery.
Record customer information and activities in the company’s CRM system: use the system as an alignment tool with other commercial roles.

What Are We Looking For In You

Mandatory 6- or 7-years’ experience within clinical commercial sales and case support for medical devices.
Experience with Endoscopy products is a nice-to-have.
Comfortable working in an acute intervention setting and assisting with relevant procedures.
Proactive and innovative team member that thrives working autonomously.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication and strategic commercial skills.
Can understand and communicate complex technical and clinical details.
Can rapidly adapt to a very dynamic marketplace.
Strong team player, collaborative, and can build relationships and work cross-functionally.

Comfortable working in a remote field-based position and can travel extensively across geographies, as required by workload.
Based in Lombardia, preferably in the Milan area.
