Remote based.PerkinElmer is looking for a results-oriented and motivated Account Manager to drive commercial growth across our analytical instrumentation portfolio in the Lazio region.You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, and contributing to scientific advancement through tailored, value-driven solutions.What You’ll DoAchieve or exceed sales targets by acquiring new customers and growing existing accounts.Identify and qualify business opportunities, turning them into long-term partnerships.Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and key decision-makers in your territory.Develop strategies that position PerkinElmer’s solutions as innovative and value-generating.Customer-Centric Sales ApproachAct as a consultative partner by understanding current and future customer needs.Present solutions focused on benefits and ROI, rather than just features.Collaborate with Field Application Specialists and technical teams to deliver impactful demos and ensure smooth onboarding.Lead technical and commercial discussions throughout the full sales cycle.Sales Excellence & Pipeline ManagementBuild and execute a structured territory business plan, prioritizing high-potential accounts.Maintain a balanced pipeline across short-, mid-, and long-term opportunities.Analyze sales performance and adapt strategies to improve win rates and drive revenue.Use CRM (SFDC) and reporting tools to track activities, forecast results, and manage account intelligence.Cross-functional CollaborationWork closely with internal teams (Service, Marketing, Customer Support, Tender Office, Quality Dept.) to ensure a seamless customer experience.Support marketing initiatives and represent PerkinElmer at trade shows and industry events.Promote a collaborative team culture built on integrity, quality and shared success.What We’re Looking For3+ years of experience in analytical instrument or analytical equipment sales with a strong performance recordStrong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.A proactive mindset and the ability to manage complex accounts autonomously.Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within analytical or laboratory instrumentationFamiliarity with CRM software is requiredA degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field is required; however, equivalent professional experience will also be considered.Professional proficiency in EnglishComfortable with travel within the Lazio region and available for occasional international travelAt PerkinElmer, we empower scientists, researchers, and healthcare professionals to push boundaries and improve lives.
