This role involves proactively monitoring sales performance, ensuring development and implementation of corrective actions to secure business growth when needed. You will lead, develop, and coach the sales organization (including other sales managers and specialists) to exceed sales targets through high performance.Your responsibilitiesSales strategy: Create, plan, and implement global/regional/local sales strategies and strategic business development initiatives for the Business Area/Division/Product Group.Sales targets: Define key sales targets and establish metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance. Anticipate and address shortfalls in performance to drive top-line growth.Customer acquisition: Identify and evaluate opportunities with existing and potential new customers. Develop plans for implementation and allocate resources accordingly.Customer relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers. Conduct customer surveys and act on feedback to ensure high satisfaction. Participate in negotiating key global contracts.Volume, profit, and cost: Monitor and maintain/exceed sales market price levels. Support local sales teams to achieve volume and product mix targets.Risk management: Monitor client financial status, report risks, and manage potential contractual risks, including cyber security issues.Sales process: Develop, implement, and review sales processes and tools, including training activities.People leadership and development: Ensure proper organization, staffing, and skills within the team. Coach and motivate team members, promote knowledge sharing and cross-collaboration.Your backgroundDegree in engineering or technical backgroundAt least 2-5 years of experience in a similar sales roleExperience with inverters, drives, motors, PLCsKnowledge of industrial machinery, OEMs, and end usersBusiness proficiency in English, both written and spokenStrong interpersonal and managerial skillsMore about us
