Join to apply for the Accountant & Controller role at IQVIAThe position will be based in Milan.RESPONSIBILITIESSupport of the Finance Director ItalyGeneral ledger accounting in SAPTakeover of accounts payable (including invoice processing in Coupa)Commercial control of (travel) expense reports in ConcurManagement of accounts receivable (due date monitoring, dunning letters)Release and monitoring of customer ordersVAT fulfillmentsSupport with annual planning and forecastsPreparation of analyses and reportsMonthly and annual financial statements supportCommunication with internal stakeholders, suppliers and customersSupport in procurement activities, including vendor managementGenerating, monitoring, revising of purchase orders and exception formsAssistance with budget trackingClose collaboration with the external accounting company and joint solution of invoicing problems, including direct contact to the suppliersSpecial project supportREQUIREMENTSAccounting degree or business degreeExperience in financial accounting in a medium-sized company (ideally in the pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry)First experience in controlling (financial planning, ad hoc analyses and reports)Efficient and effective verbal and written communication skills in Italian and EnglishAdvanced experience with MS Excel and first experience with SAP (FI).
