As a Sales Manager you will be part of a highly dedicated and professional team, which is responsible for delivering the highest quality of service to an internationally dedicated client base. The main purpose of your role is to generate profitable business across all products from new as well as existing customers and thereby delivering on the strategic objectives and targets to generate growth for POFM.Sales Manager, ItalyHours per week : Full timeKey responsibilitiesYou will play an active part in the company's commercial development. Next to this you will have the following tasks :Create and deliver high quality leads of potential new customersQualify and nurture leads / opportunities from lead generationActively generate and qualify new business opportunities from existing customers.Actively generate and qualify new business opportunities from new customers.Plan, prepare and carry out virtual / f2f meetings with potential customersInvolve and align all relevant internal stakeholders during the sales processSupport Tender Management in developing competitive replies to tendersNegotiate contracts, close deals and create high quality quotesContribute with market insights in developing pricing structureRedirect potential small customers to Inside SalesReport on a regular basis on your sales activities, including funnel reportAttend weekly sales meetingsAttend exhibitions and conferencesYour profileVery good working knowledge of English languageGood knowledge of MS Office packages and CRM systemsClear and direct communication skillsAt least 8 years’ experience in an internationally oriented commercial job roleSense of urgency and good negotiatorFocus orientated, Team player, Decisive and Customer orientedWho are we?We are P&O Ferrymasters, and we work with some of the largest companies in the world to make sure that their goods get to where they need to on time and efficiently.
