OverviewThe Italian Team is seeking a commercially focused and detail-oriented Sales Manager for B2B / existing clients to oversee commercial renegotiations. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our Awin Italian clients and their support teams on all commercial and contractual matters. You will play a key role in mitigating client risks while identifying opportunities to implement long-term strategies that reduce churn and foster stronger, lasting client relationships. You will manage contract negotiations with existing customers, ensuring that all discussions lead to win-win-win outcomes. By adhering to best practices in negotiation management, you will secure economically beneficial results while meeting the specific needs of each client. Additionally, you will be involved in cross-selling, upselling, and presenting new products to existing customers. Responsibilities
Contract Negotiations & Sales: Conduct direct contract negotiations with existing customers at every stage of the sales pipeline and collaborate closely with account management to position Awin’s new products and demonstrate their value.
Pricing & Offers: Present Awin’s new pricing structure to existing customers and advise customers on their service needs to create tailored offers.
Cross-Sell & Up-Sell: Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to generate additional gross profit.
RFP Management: Manage business RFPs from existing customers, ensuring high-quality delivery through effective project management and coordinating required teams to meet timelines.
Dispute Resolution & Risk Management: Facilitate the resolution of contractual and commercial disputes, ensuring both Awin’s and client requirements are met.
Process Optimization & Account Retention: Contribute to process improvements and manage key milestones within contracts (renewals, terminations, deliverables); support customer conflict management and retention with commercial solutions.
Commercial Focus & Client Relationships: Communicate Awin’s unique selling propositions with a strong understanding of competitor tools and technology; manage and resolve contract queries (e.g., security audits, DPAs, T&Cs); work empathetically to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Role Evolution: The position is designed to evolve over time, offering opportunities to gain deeper knowledge within the online and affiliate marketplace.
Skills & Expertise
Negotiation & Closing: Excellent negotiating, persuading, and closing skills with a strong commercial mindset.
Performance Marketing & E-Commerce: Performance marketing experience and technical knowledge of the e-commerce sector are advantageous.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish; comfortable in B2B sales conversations.
Problem Solving: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
Project Management: Strong project management skills to coordinate teams and drive successful outcomes.
Adaptability: Comfortable in an innovative, fast-paced environment with evolving processes.
