We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and well-being for our guests and employees.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety and Security Manager to oversee all aspects of safety, security, and risk management for a portfolio of our prestigious ultra-luxury hotels. The ideal candidate will possess a strong strategic mindset and will be responsible for fostering a strong safety culture across all properties, working with the divisional safety and security lead and general manager to create a secure and welcoming environment for our guests and staff.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & GovernanceDevelop and implement comprehensive safety, security, and risk management strategies aligned with hotel objectivesConduct with HOD's annual and regular risk assessments to identify key vulnerabilities and protect critical assetsServe as the hotel's primary liaison with local authorities, community stakeholders, and regulatory bodiesTeam Leadership & OperationsManage the Risk & Safety department; conduct performance evaluations, hiring, disciplinary actions, and career developmentOversee safety, security, and risk mitigation projects, including vendor contracts and external service providersRisk Assessment & MitigationWorking with HOD's Identify, assess, and prioritize potential risks to staff and guests, then design and deploy effective mitigation strategiesDevelop safety and emergency protocols, tailored to functions and property specificsEmergency Response & Crisis ManagementLead crisis planning, emergency drills, and the hotels' preparedness programsManage incident investigations, coordinate with local emergency services, and ensure prompt resolution and documentationSafety Standards & ComplianceEnsure adherence to all relevant health, safety, fire safety, food safety and security and local regulatory requirementsPerform regular inspections of Risk management systems (e.g., fire and evacuation equipment) and supervise corrective actions when necessaryReporting & CommunicationProvide timely risk and safety updates, incident analyses, and strategic recommendations to senior leadershipPromote a strong culture of safety, security and resilience awareness and compliance across all departments through training and communication initiativesGuest & Event SafetyConduct risk assessments for VIP visits, special events, and large functionsAdvise on and implement protective measures as requiredAdditional ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of physical security, including event security, CCTV systems, and access controlManage and train security and non-security personnel, ensuring they are well-equipped to respond to a variety of incidents and emergenciesMonitor and maintain all fire safety system and relevant Planned Preventative MaintenanceManage the safety security and resilience budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to address key risks and prioritiesStay abreast of emerging safety and security threats and technologies; proactively implement measures to enhance the security posture of the hotelsWork in conjunction with H.R. to execute background checks and other relevant pre-employment screeningSupport F&B with Hygiene and food safetyProvide guidance and support to hotel management teams on all safety and security mattersDrive a strong culture of safety, security awareness, and continuous improvement across all hotel propertiesRequirementsCertification in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Occupational Health and Safety or a related fieldAt least 5 years of progressive experience in safety and security management,Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive safety and security programsStrong knowledge of physical security principles, security technologies (CCTV, access control), and business. risk management methodologiesExcellent leadership, strategy communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to effectively train and motivate internal and external security personnel and non-security personnelWorking knowledge of relevant safety and security regulations, including European standardsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
