LOCATION: Florence or Milan
The Retail Director will lead our global retail initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving and managing WW retail initiatives. They will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of various projects aimed at enhancing the global retail reach focusing on expanding stores, improving customer and retail employee experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND GENERAL DUTIES:

Business development of the WW market
Responsible for managing WW DOS, outlets, pop-up and temporary projects.
Develop and execute growth strategies in line with company objectives, presenting analyses and proposing new projects.
Responsible for new openings, store renovations, expansions: location scouting, contacts with brokers, leasing and related contractual management, analysis of project feasibility in collaboration with the Store Planner.
Collaborate with Stake holders to drive revenue and profitability.
Oversee store operations, ensuring adherence to KPIs and standards.
Lead and mentor Area Managers, Store Managers, direct reports and Retail staffs.
Foster teamwork and collaboration across departments.
Maintain strong communication channels with global leadership.
Prepare a market business plan to determine strategy for the WW market development of all directly operated stores and corners/pop up
Lead and supervise the client service strategy by driving and enhancing workflow, procedures and policies, to deliver best-in-class omnichannel customer experience and maximize the business opportunities
Enhance the customer experience through a proactive management of the VIP and high value client relationships
Stay updated on the trends of the luxury market with specific focus on competitors’ benchmarking (clientele, events, promotions, pricing, merchandising strategies, market positioning)

Business accountability

Responsible for submitting market input for the yearly budgets for the HQ’s approval
Responsible for providing yearly strategies to achieve financial targets
Responsible for market P&L and margin
Daily follow up on the sale of the WW stores communicating with the Area Managers and teams to provide necessary coaching and motivation to improve the results day by day
Analyze, review and ensure the awareness of KPIs among the team members
Generate and review periodic reports on customers service, KPIs, customer buying behavior and order while ensuring accuracy, completeness and integrity of all information

People Management and development

Responsible and oversees the Area Manager, Retail Operations department, Buying Department.
Oversee recruitment and selection with the HR department, ensuring that the recruits meet the company standards in terms of skills, experience, qualifications and potential
Inspire Area Managers, Store Managers and Store teams provide them with insights into brand voice and leading by example in terms of behavior and knowledge, dynamism and professionalism
Ensure that all team members receive regular feedback through one-to-one meetings
Conduct performance review for all direct reports
Ensure that training initiatives are effectively implemented in the market

Service excellence

Motivate and inspire Retail Teams to elevate customer in-store experience by hosting the highest luxury selling ceremony.
Foster a store environment of excellent service, defining, modelling and holding Store Managers accountable for long-life customer engagement
Have full understanding and knowledge of the market\'s top clients and emerging clients

Requisiti:

5 years of experience in a similar role in the luxury industry (strong retail experience essential)
Bachelor’s degree
Excellent knowledge of luxury retail environment
Ability to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment by being flexible and adaptable
Excellent analytical skills
Heightened problem-solving skills and a solution based mentality
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks, and ensure delivery of results within tight deadlines
Ability to build relationships and network easily
Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
