We were meant to fly.In this role you will develop repair procedures on Engines, Modules and Components by leveraging on legacy technologies or new ones to achieve the objectives of maintenance cost, performance and life. Moreover, you will oversee supporting Avio Aero Repair Stations in improving Shop Productivity Targets. You will be part of Avio Aero Repair and Technical Publication team within the Services Technology organization.Essential ResponsibilitiesDevelop Repairs for Engines, Modules and Components, in order to achieve the objectives of maintenance cost, performance and lifeIdentify and develop new repair technologies and creative application of existing, to address business needsDefine and coordinate the substantiation activities (design, analysis, testing, etc...) needed to demonstrate airworthiness of serviceable or repaired componentsOwnership of Technical Publications relevant to engines, components or Sub-assemblySupport Avio Aero Repair Stations in improving maintenance costs and TAT and in the solution of technical problems deriving from the repair processes and technologiesPromote the "concurrent repair design" with the Avio Repair StationsUse of design tools : 2D / 3D CAD as Unigraphics, and in-house SW'sUse of Tech Pubs creation / editing toolsQualifications / RequirementsMaster's degree in mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited universitySense of ownership, attitude for collaboration, proactivityGood technical skillsGood interpersonal, leadership, and communication skillsClear thinking and diligent approachProficiency in Italian and English languageWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsCuriosity and passion for in service aviation enginesPassion for mechanical designGood materials and special processes knowledgePrevious experience in Aerospace DesignPrevious experience in Repair EngineeringCAD tools knowledgeWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes smart work in hybrid mode, and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
