Overvieweero is looking for a highly focused QA Engineer to work on critical web application testing projects that keep our platform running smoothly. You will help the QA team validate software releases and ensure a great customer experience. You\'ll work closely across multi-functional development teams to help discover, recreate, and debug issues for new and existing software features. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to and grow our web automation. At eero we believe in encouraging career growth through on-the-job learning and skills development.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the software development life cycle from beginning to endCreate and execute test plans for existing products and featuresWork with development teams to define testing protocol for new features as they are designed and developedProvide additional cross functional test support for other team membersDevelop test scenarios from requirements and ensure maximum requirement traceabilityProvide detailed bug reports to the Engineering Team using JIRACreate detailed documentation to share your product and feature knowledge across the QA team and eero organizationBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor\'s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent3+ years in a Quality assurance role out of which at least 2+ years are in testing web applicationsCombination of solid in-depth knowledge of quality assurance, solid understanding of web/mobile technologies, as well as knowledge of automation toolsPassion for all things web - including usability and accessibilityExperience working with combined web and mobile software projectsExperience contributing to an existing automation framework for maintenance and new feature coverageAbility to work independently and within a testing teamExperience working directly with developers, Product Managers and DesignersPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with consumer networking hardware such as routers, switches, wireless access pointsFamiliarity or experience with mobile automation (using Java, JavaScript, or Python)Experience testing cloud APIsOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
