Key Job Responsibilities
This position will exclusively support Weekend Shift (Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon, 10 hours/day) after an on-boarding period of weekday support.

Troubleshoot production issues in a timely manner
Support and manage daily production operations and eliminate blockers and/or part shortages
Work with cross functional teams to solve production issues
Provide design for manufacturability feedback and drive positive continuous change to hardware
Work with process, quality, and design engineers to continuously improve manufacturing processes

A day in the life
As a Manufacturing Engineer this person will be supporting the technician team by resolving any obstacles and working with responsible engineers to disposition non-conformances. This individual will work closely with engineering teams in specifying and building or procuring tools and line equipment for Amazon Leo hardware builds. The successful candidate has some basic experience in supporting production of space hardware through development, QTP (qualification test procedures), and flight hardware ATP (acceptance test procedures).

Basic Qualifications

Ability to support a Weekend Shift (Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon, 10 hours/day) after an on-boarding period of weekday support.
1+ years of experience supporting production in a manufacturing capacity or related field.
1+ years of experience with RCCA.

Preferred Qualifications
BS degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Compensation
The base pay for this position ranges from $86,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position will remain posted until filled.
