This role offers the opportunity to be the primary point of contact for assigned development projects within a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment backed by an international group.Based in Milan and reporting to the Country Manager, the Senior Project Manager will focus on the development of projects across technologies, including PV, wind, BESS, hydrogen and P2X.Key responsibilitiesIdentify, assess and advance new project development opportunities for wind, solar, BESS and P2XPerform feasibility studies and risk assessments for potential projectsManage project delivery from concept through permitting to ready-to-build (RTB) and handover to construction, taking full ownership of land, grid and permit pillars while controlling scope, budget and scheduleOversee budgets and resource allocation for assigned projects, proactively managing schedule and riskCoordinate external developers, consultants and service providers, ensuring compliance with contracts and deliverablesSource and propose project acquisition opportunities, including participation in M&A evaluationsFacilitate handover to the Construction team and provide support during the construction phaseSupport development and optimisation of the existing project portfolioCoach and develop colleagues, with particular emphasis on permitting and regulatory processesPromote profitable, sustainable growth for the organisation in the Italian marketPerform other duties as required in support of project developmentRequired profileMinimum eight years’ experience in renewable energy project development, primarily wind and/or solarFluent in Italian and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languagesProven experience in greenfield project development in Italy, from land scouting to RTB, including familiarity with national, regional and local regulations, grid connection procedures and land contract negotiation/managementExcellent project management skills and a track record of delivering complex projectsStrong analytical, interpersonal and organisational abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects across different regions simultaneouslyWillingness to travel frequently within ItalyExperience managing construction of utility-scale wind or PV plants through commissioningKnowledge of battery storage, hydrogen and/or P2X project developmentAdditional language skillsIf this sounds like you, and you are driven by delivering impactful renewable projects and thrive in a dynamic development environment, we welcome your application!Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionProject ManagementIndustries: Services for Renewable Energy
