Position Title: Project Construction Manager
Reporting to: Project Manager
The Project Construction Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all construction activities across the project’s onshore and offshore scopes, ensuring safe, timely, and high‑quality execution of works. The role provides full construction oversight during fabrication, installation, pre‑commissioning, and handover, coordinating closely with engineering, procurement, HSE, quality, and interface teams to ensure that all construction activities align with project plans, specifications, and contractual requirements.

Construction Planning and Control
Develop and implement the Project Construction Execution Plan in line with project objectives.
Define construction work sequences, resource plans, and site execution priorities.
Review contractor construction methodologies, lifting plans, and installation procedures.
Site Management and Supervision
Lead day‑to‑day oversight of construction activities at site, fabrication yard, and offshore locations.
Ensure contractors comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
Monitor progress, productivity, and manpower levels across all work fronts.
HSE and Quality Compliance
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to project HSE requirements.
Verify implementation of project quality plans, inspection test plans, and construction checklists.
Support audits, site inspections, and surveillance activities.
Technical and Engineering Coordination
Work with engineering and interface teams to resolve construction‑related technical issues.
Review construction deliverables and support resolution of design queries, RFIs, and site clarifications.
Ensure engineering changes are communicated and implemented in the field.
Contractor and Stakeholder Coordination
Chair regular construction coordination meetings with EPC/EPCIC contractors and subcontractors.
Monitor contractor performance and elevate schedule or quality concerns where required.
Coordinate with operations, commissioning, and third‑party stakeholders for construction‑related interfaces.
Schedule, Progress, and Reporting
Track construction milestones and critical path activities with the project planning team.
Verify contractor progress measurement and certify completed works.
Provide weekly and monthly construction status reports to the Project Manager.
Readiness, Pre‑commissioning, and Handover
Ensure walkdowns, punch lists, and system completions follow project processes.
Support pre‑commissioning and mechanical completion activities.
Confirm all construction dossiers and as‑built documentation are finalised before handover.

Construction quality and HSE compliance reports.
Construction completion certificates and handover dossiers.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
12+ years’ experience in oil and gas construction management, including yard and site execution.
Proven background in EPC/EPCIC projects with exposure to offshore structures, subsea systems, and onshore facilities.
Strong understanding of construction methods, fabrication, installation, and mechanical completion processes.
Experience managing construction contractors on large multi‑package projects.
Solid knowledge of project HSE, quality requirements, lifting operations, and heavy construction activities.
Familiarity with construction management tools, reporting systems, and work‑pack‑based execution.
Offshore survival and HSE training certifications are an advantage.
