Business Analysis

Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements for retail systems and applications.
Translate business needs into functional specifications for development and testing teams.
Conduct workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions with stakeholders.
Analyse existing retail processes and systems to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
Validate solutions through testing, user feedback, and post-implementation reviews.
Ensure all deliverables comply with internal standards, data governance, and IT policies.

Project Management

Plan, manage, and execute business analysis activities across all project phases.
Support project planning, budgeting, and reporting for local and EU retail technology initiatives.
Track project progress, manage risks, and escalate issues to ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate dependencies between business and technical teams to maintain project alignment.
Maintain project documentation and status reports according to company standards.

Stakeholder Engagement

Build and maintain strong relationships with business, IT, and vendor teams.
Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Secure stakeholder sign-off on requirements, scope, and deliverables.
Conduct presentations and walkthroughs for solution validation and decision-making.

Team Leadership and Mentoring

Mentor and support junior project managers and analysts on documentation, process, and delivery.
Share best practices and tools to improve team capability and consistency.
Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across the Retail Technology team.

Communication and Reporting

Coordinate the creation and distribute the IT Market Update newsletter to key audiences.
Prepare regular project and analysis reports for leadership.
Communicate key findings, risks, and recommendations in a clear and concise way.
