Prime ECS 360 Account Executive Local Government Public Sector

Job Overview
As part of the Enterprise Corporate Sales (ECS) 360 team, you will sell to government customers across the Italy region. You will grow and manage large Local Government Public Sector accounts, partnering with our Strategic Account Executives to evangelize the Salesforce vision and generate transactional growth. You will leverage the core Data & AI suite of our Citizen 360 platform, including Core, Digital, Mulesoft, Tableau and Slack offerings.
Responsibilities
Exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Create and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities
Manage the end‑to‑end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources (Solution Engineers, Professional Services, Marketing, Partners, etc.)
Contribute to account and sector strategy planning
Strengthen client relationships through regular engagement and face‑to‑face meetings
Organize and manage industry events and user groups
Build campaigns to target new business growth
Ensure forecast hygiene and accuracy
Generate new ideas to improve overall business performance
Qualifications
Ambition and hunger to overachieve
Previous exposure to the Italian public sector market
A large appetite for personal development
Passion for public sector and motivation to change the world with technology
Highly collaborative with the ability to build trust across internal and customer stakeholders
Proven experience of quota‑carrying sales and account management experience, preferably in the technology industry
Successful history of new‑business sales, with consistent delivery against revenue targets
Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles
Previous sales methodology training, CRM experience and strong customer references
Knowledge and experience of the public sector
Fluency in English and Italian required
University degree or equivalent through experience
Office‑flexible presence required; role based in Salesforce Rome office
