OverviewMedcor is currently looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work Part-Time in their employer-based clinic setting in the Quad Cities (Moline, Milan, Davenport). The work environment is in an Industrial Setting focusing on Occupational Health. This a 20 hours a week position, with the opportunity for more hours.ResponsibilitiesProvide superior clinical care and customer service to Medcor’s client and employeesTreat injuries and illnesses following Evidence Based Medicine standardsBuild and maintain internal team relationshipsCollaborate with client professionals in health, safety and environmental practicesCollaborate with client human resources and benefits professionals on clinical issuesSupport client’s wellness and preventative programsDocument and manage information using state-of-the-art EMR and other toolsPatient education regarding medical conditions and treatment optionsPatient coaching regarding healthy behaviorsQualificationsHave a valid unrestricted IL and IA licensureHave current DEA & BLS certificationsHave a DOT CertificationHave strong computer skills and familiarity with EMR softwareHave a positive and outgoing personality, and be a collaborative team playerPossess excellent verbal and written communication skills – with patients, clients and colleaguesBe willing to go above and beyond to give excellent customer serviceBe comfortable working in an on-site clinic environmentIt’s a Plus IfYou have occupational health experienceYou have previous work-site clinic experienceCulture and PhilosophyWe don’t just advocate for our clients and our patients; we also advocate for ourselves.
