It focuses on the platform's technology foundation and develops fault tolerance and high-availability solutions for their software platform.If you feel you have the necessary skills, please apply for this Nicosia-based role.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESParticipation in implementation and support projects of processing systems (financial and telecom areas)Large transaction systems performance auditMiscellaneous load systems - OLTP + DSS - performance improvementWriting and performing load (stress) testsInvestigating and applying new technologies (mainly Oracle) in complex architecture solutionsRequirements collection and analysis, specifications development, and solution design involvementCANDIDATE PROFILEHigher education in technical fieldsAt least 7 years of experience in Oracle DBA or developer roles, with large OLTP-systems development and/or administrationCluster technology working experienceOracle Data Guard working experienceSQL tuning and execution plans optimizationAdministration-level knowledge of Unix-like systemsPL/SQL development skills (advantageous)Deep understanding of infrastructure deployment and networks, especially in relation to deploying databases in production environments for large-scale financial processingExcellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spokenStrong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and convincinglyDue to the high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be responded to.
