The responsibilities of an Occupational Therapist include, but are not confined to:Assessing and designing personalised intervention services and therapy plans for various needs including paediatrics, home modifications, vocational rehabilitation, disability, neurological rehabilitation, and aged careCollaborating with allied health professionals and local primary healthcare teams to achieve client goals within base clinic and outreach locationsPreparing and presenting information sessions for educators, parents, and/or other professionalsProviding services under the NDIS, DVA, WC, Medicare, PHN, Checkup, Aged Care Packages among othersActively engaging in weekly multi-disciplinary case conferences for complex NDIS clientsDelivering hands-on therapy and coaching clients in alternative techniques to advance motor skills, coordination, balance, and mobilityFacilitating transformative advancements in rural healthcare and community education by actively engaging in events and providing authoritative leadership on social media within the field of Occupational TherapyCreating and executing plans for clients aimed at enhancing their daily routines and tasksContributing to internal PD in areas of interest, dependent on experience levelWhy work for this organisation?Comprehensive clinical development & support across all career stagesAttractive & competitive base wage with a bonus scheme to reward clinical excellenceOpportunities for multiple levels of professional development.
