OverviewMaternity Cover - Management System Certification Commercial Support is a fixed-term position for maternity leave replacement. The role is based in Milan, Palermo, Genova, Roma, or Casalecchio Di Reno (Italy) within the Mediterranean & Africa Certification Division.The Commercial Support is responsible for the administrative aspects of customer interactions, managing quotes, and finalizing contracts. This position supports the sales team by providing efficient and effective customer service, ensuring accurate record keeping, and contributing to marketing intelligence activities.ResponsibilitiesCustomer Data Management: Create and maintain accurate customer records in the database; ensure customer information is current and complete; handle customer requests for account information and updates.Quotation Issuance: Assist in creating and issuing quotations to customers; implement and manage simple pricing strategies in collaboration with the sales team; ensure consistency and accuracy in quotation documentation.Administrative Support: Provide support to the sales team in document preparation and data entry; maintain organized files and records related to customer interactions and quotations; collaborate with team members to streamline processes.Customer Communication: Effectively communicate with customers to gather information needed to issue quotations; ensure timely and professional responses to inquiries.Data Analysis and Reporting: Assist with data analysis related to customer interactions, pricing, and market trends; generate reports to support decision-making; contribute to process improvements for data analysis and reporting.Documentation and Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions; document details of offers, pricing agreements, and other relevant information; ensure compliance with company recordkeeping policies.EducationHigh School Diploma/GED in Economics or Computer Science.QualificationsExcellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams; high attention to detail and accuracy in managing client information and pricing agreements.Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced commercial environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), SharePoint, and other relevant business software.Knowledge of company policies relating to data protection, compliance, and record keeping.Although not always mandatory, any previous experience in business support, issuing quotations, ensuring documentation accuracy and consistency, customer service, or related fields is advantageous (including internships, part-time roles, or volunteer experience).Familiarity with RINA services is advantageous.Willingness to learn about quotations to effectively support commercial, operations, and client teams.Basic IT skills, including experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and accurate data entry.CompetenciesAddress the Way: Take a big-picture view and reinterpret situations from a broader perspective.Build Network: Forge trustful relationships across departments and with external partners.Client Intimacy: Understand and meet internal and external client needs and expectations.Earn Trust: Consider diverse opinions and remain open to different viewpoints.Make Effective Decisions: Prioritize actions, resources, and constraints.Manage Emotions: Recognise and regulate emotions in oneself and others.Pioneer Change: Embrace change and adapt to new circumstances.Promote Sustainable Development: Model commitment by keeping promises.Think Forward: Translate experiences into actionable future plans.RINA is a multinational company providing a wide range of services in energy, marine, certification, infrastructure & mobility, industry, research & development sectors.
