Lead Fulfillment Associate
The Amazon operations team is looking for Lead Fulfillment Associates with a strong record of achieving results to join the expanding team supporting operations leaders and associates in delivering strong operations results within our fulfillment centers. Lead Fulfillment Associates hold various roles within the Fulfillment Center including, but not limited to: Trainer, Process Assistant and Shipping Clerk. All role types will include performing production duties as needed: pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, ensure inventory accuracy, and unload/load trucks. Lead Fulfillment Associates will also be responsible for communicating instructions to other associates, motivating them and keeping their work areas safe.
Primary Responsibilities
Trainer – conducting training sessions, mentoring associates, ensuring compliance with safety and productivity standards.
Process Assistant – managing daily labor allocation, leading meetings, assigning job duties, communicating with suppliers, and executing standard work in Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
Dock Clerk – managing inbound flow, scheduling appointments, communicating with carriers, planning inbound arrivals, ensuring carrier compliance, and leading dock personnel.
Receiving Clerk – scheduling inbound deliveries via dock master, communicating with carriers, maintaining accurate schedule knowledge, and training backup clerks.
Shipping Clerk – coordinating with multiple shipping companies, using their software to ship and track packages, and ensuring proper processes in the Trailer Dock Release program.
Non‑Inventory Receive Clerk – working with procurement to administer non‑inventory goods, organizing supplies, researching missing shipments, staging product, and using PIT equipment.
Regulated Waste Coordinator – leading the Waste Program, managing hazardous waste compliance, providing technical support, and maintaining partnership with Operations and EHS teams.
Amazon Robotics (AR) Quarterback – monitoring floor health of the robotic field, dispatching safe work, coordinating with learning, RME, and operations teams, and driving standard work practices.
Floor Health Monitor – troubleshooting AR floor issues, assisting associates at stations with amnesty processing and prevention.
Data Analyst – working with ICQA and operations teams in In‑ and Out‑Blood to provide data and analytical support for ACES initiatives and compliance.
PIT Trainer – supporting operations leaders and associates, providing production duties, and ensuring safe work areas.

Basic Qualifications
1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
High school or equivalent.
Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.
Are 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
A completed Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree.
1+ year of leadership experience directly managing others.
1+ year working in a manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, or large retail environment.
Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train and assist team members.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $46,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $57,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
