Mission
RINA is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team supporting a key client in the defence and heavy vehicle sector. The selected candidate will work on-site at the client's premises in Bolzano, contributing to the design and development of mechanical components for heavy‑duty applications.
Key Accountabilities

Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CATIA V5.
Collaborate with the client's engineering team to define technical solutions aligned with project requirements.
Interpret technical specifications and translate them into 3D models and 2D drawings.
Ensure manufacturability and compliance with applicable standards.
Manage product data and documentation using Teamcenter PLM.
Participate in design reviews and support the implementation of design changes.

Education
Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in heavy‑duty or industrial sectors.
Proficiency in CATIA V5 and familiarity with Teamcenter.
Good knowledge of ferrous materials (e.g., steel, cast iron) and related manufacturing processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Team‑oriented mindset and good communication skills. #LI‑SC1
