The Roles
GA‑Alliance is actively seeking both a Trainee (Praticante) and a Junior Attorney (3+ PQE) specializing in European Business Law.
The core focus of this role will be on EU regulations impacting commerce, including EU corporate governance, competition law matters, cross‑border commercial transactions, and EU regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong interest in growing into a sector‑specific legal expert. You should be proactive and self‑motivated, eager to take ownership of your work product, and demonstrate the skill, talent, and commitment necessary to deliver outstanding results. THE JUNIOR LAWYER PRACTICE AREAS COVERS:
In addition to having a perfect command of English, knowledge of additional EU‑spoken languages, is an asset. The candidate should also have experience in some of the following areas:
European business law
European Law (the fundamental freedoms of the internal market, EU institutional framework, legislative process, etc.)
Antitrust law
Regulatory law
Commercial law and relations with third countries
Banking law
Drafting and review of in‑court and out‑of‑court documents for public and private clients
Key Requirements:
Excellent academic credentials from University; an LLM with a focus on EU Law is a significant plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Previous relevant experience within a top‑tier firm or a relevant EU institution (specifically for the Junior Attorney track).
Strong background in European Business Law and thorough knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks affecting commerce.
Fluency in both Italian and English is required, additional European languages are a plus
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
