PositionBuyer Specialist - fixed contractThe Buyer Specialist will be responsible for respecting the project schedule, managing procurement, and for all activities related to supply chain management.
ResponsibilitiesImplement the QMS in the area of responsibilityShared responsibility for respecting the project budget, product cost, and tooling costDefine the Supply Chain for new components, sub-assemblies, or complete productsResponsible for the cost of new components, sub-assemblies, or complete products purchased, as well as the cost of the necessary toolingResponsible for respecting the project schedule (delivery of components) during the various project phasesPrepare Project Purchasing documentationSelect suppliers in a global multi-functional environment (Purchasing, Quality, Procurement, R&D) in line with the Global StrategyEnsure the qualification of new suppliers via the Hill-Rom certification processInvolve in supplier projects at an early stage (ESI) to bring supplier technical expertise during development of Videomed productsEstablish and implement energy performance assessment criteria in contract negotiations for energy-using products, equipment and servicesInform suppliers that energy performance is an evaluation criterion for purchases with significant energy use
