The successful candidate will be fluent in English and Greek (Russian would be advantageous), be a graduate from a top tier university, and be studying for ACCA or ACA qualification. We look forward to receiving your CV for this Nicosia-based Junior Accountant role.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for conducting accounting for multiple clients in various industries (e.g., financing, investment, trading) in accordance with accounting best practices, IFRS, and the Companies Law.Complete accounting engagements for managers’ review, communicate with clients and fiduciary service providers during engagements.Responsible for VAT returns (if applicable), in accordance with VAT legislation, and the submission of VIES reports for applicable companies.Prepare and complete tax computations and liaise with Tax Authorities as required.CANDIDATE PROFILEAccountancy graduate from a top-tier university with at least a 2.1 degree or equivalent.Currently studying for or affiliated with ACCA or ACA qualifications.School leaving certificate with at least 18/20.Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of Caseware, Esoft, & Navision would be an advantage.Outgoing and pleasant personality.Fluent in Greek and English; Russian language skills are advantageous.COMPANY BENEFITS13th SalaryDue to the high volume of applications at GRS Recruitment, only shortlisted candidates will be responded to.
