Develop and implement the company’s business strategy in Italy to achieve growth and market share objectives.Identify market opportunities, trends, and customer needs to position the company as a leader in the photovoltaic sector.Sales and Business DevelopmentDrive sales efforts to achieve and exceed revenue targets.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, EPC companies, and utilities.Lead negotiations and secure contracts for large-scale solar projects.Market ExpertiseLeverage deep knowledge of the solar PV market, including technologies, regulatory frameworks, and competitive landscape.Provide insights and guidance to the global team on the Italian market’s dynamics.Team ManagementRecruit, train, and manage a high-performing local team to support business operations and sales efforts.Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.Operational OversightEnsure compliance with local regulations, policies, and industry standards.Monitor and manage financial performance, budgets, and reporting.EducationBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.Experience8-10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on the solar PV industry.Proven track record of success in sales and business development roles.Experience working in large multinational corporations is preferred.Demonstrated ability to transition to smaller companies or a strong motivation to contribute to the growth of an innovative companyTechnical ExpertiseAdvanced knowledge of photovoltaic technologies, solar tracking systems, and industry-specific nomenclature.LanguagesFluency in both Italian and English is required.SkillsStrong strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to build and nurture client relationships and lead a team effectively.
