The future colleague will join the Cloud Native Team as a HYPERSCALER ENGINEER, supporting the Hyperscaler Operations team in managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure across major hyperscale platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). This role provides hands‑on experience in enterprise‑level cloud operations while contributing to the maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of our hyperscale environments. It also offers an opportunity to develop expertise in cloud technologies, automation, and scalable infrastructure management under the guidance of senior team members.
The key responsibilities of this role include :
Performing daily monitoring and health checks of hyperscale infrastructure to ensure system availability and enable early detection of potential issues;
Responding to incidents and performing basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime and restore service functionality;
Monitoring costs and analyzing resource usage to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements;
Developing and maintaining automation scripts to reduce manual tasks and improve operational efficiency;
Updating documentation and maintaining the knowledge base to ensure accurate procedures and facilitate knowledge sharing;
Collecting and reporting performance metrics to provide insights for capacity planning and optimization decisions.

The ideal candidate meets the following requirements :
Hard Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered;
1-2 years of experience in IT operations, cloud infrastructure, or related technical roles;
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) through previous work, internships, or academic projects preferred;
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform);
Understanding of Linux / Unix operating systems and command line interface;
Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver);
Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell);
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes basics);
Understanding of networking concepts (TCP / IP, DNS, load balancing);
Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation);
Basic understanding of CI / CD pipelines;
Knowledge of version control systems (Git);
Understanding of ITIL processes and incident management;
Possession of one or more of the following certifications is considered a preferred qualification : AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate; Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104); Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer; AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate; Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900).
Language Skills :
Good command of Italian and English, both written and spoken;
Good command of French and / or Spanish is a plus.
