Responsibilities
Develop and implement local procurement strategies aligned with global CLF objectives.
Lead the sourcing, negotiation, and contracting processes for local suppliers.
Conduct continuous supplier scouting to identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors that meet quality, cost, and sustainability standards.
Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and innovation targets are met.
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and value creation.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., SCM, Finance, R&D) to understand needs and ensure procurement supports business goals.
Local implementation of processes, standards and tools set by global CLF.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.
Lead, coach, and develop the local procurement team to build capabilities and drive performance.
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement efficiency, cost savings, and supplier performance.
Support risk management initiatives by identifying and mitigating supply chain risks.
Qualifications
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement roles, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
In-depth knowledge of commodity market dynamics.
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
Analytical mindset and proficiency in tools such as Excel and ERP systems (SAP).
Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
Results-oriented, proactive, and a strong team player.
Solid understanding of supply chain principles and how procurement integrates within the broader supply chain strategy.
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Knowledge of local market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
