We were meant to fly.The GCAP Engine Delivery & Assembly Processes Industrial Leader will join the GCAP Industrial Management team that coordinates the industrial activities of the new strategic military program, for which the Industrial Management team is the Supply Chain primary interface. You will provide technical and management leadership during the Program launch and the execution of the development phases. In this role you will define development plans for critical Program enablers throughout the Supply Chain, coordinating all the Product Centers and the involved functions within Supply Chain (Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, Facilities …) and other relevant functions and being the Supply Chain primary interface reporting to the GCAP Supply Chain Leader. You will also be responsible for readiness of the delivery management process towards the assembly line of the Product. The goals of this role will mainly consist in matching the program milestones in terms of readiness and execution, evaluating and managing related risks, supporting Cost control. In this role you will be based in the Brindisi site and coordinate with the GCAP Engine Industrial Leader. Travelling to other Avio Aero sites, to supplier\'s and abroad is expected to cover specific program needs. Working in classified environment is expected to cover specific program rules.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the industrialization and readiness of the Accessories & Externals Sub-modulesResponsible for the readiness and execution within the Supply Chain of the National Technology Maturation Plans (NTPs) of the Accessories modules and the integration with the Demonstrating vehicles and Engine program plansResponsible for the Delivery Management of his/her area of competenceCreate and execute integrated plans according to the Program Target and the Program Integrated Master ScheduleProvide Technical leadership to the cross-functional teams during the execution of the maturation planProactively identify, detect, prevent and manage risks that may have impacts on technical success, timing of execution and compliance of the programResponsible for Program Control Board preparation for his/her area of competenceResponsible for reporting-out to Leadership teamSupport Program Management Team on Program MOR preparationMonitor the program progress (reporting relevant KPIs) at the operating rhythm (WOR, MOR)Qualifications/RequirementsMaster\'s degree in EngineeringTechnical competence on products and processes, obtained in Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Production Engineering; Previous experiencePrevious experience in New Product Introduction development projects/programsPrior program/project management experienceItalian and Fluent English language, oral and writtenWork Visa, according to local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsExperience in Aviation BusinessTechnical knowledge of Aeronautical Engine and related manufacturing processesStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to manage complex multi-year technical programs in a matrix resource environmentPrevious experience leading multi-discipline engineering/technical teamsStrong influencing skills in a global environmentAbility to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlinesStrong process discipline with sound analytic and statistical skillsKnow-how in APQP/AS13100 and LEAN principles and methodsChange oriented - actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordinglyWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balance.
