Job Description SummaryThe Field Service Engineer will be responsible for meeting the daily service repair needs of the customers equipment and driving customer satisfaction through Service Excellence.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities / essential functions include :Total system-level troubleshooting installation maintenance and service repair needs on designated equipment.Interface with doctors and technicians on equipment status issues. Acts to ensure satisfaction to customers. Maintain communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up leading to customer satisfaction.Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.Maintain tools and test equipment properly and ensure they are calibrated.Can identify Sales opportunities and communicate to account team in his / her geographic areaWork as a member of the local team to provide efficient and cost-effective service to the assigned areaResponsibly completes all administration tasks on time.Ensures timely completion of assigned FMIs and PMsAssist less experienced Junior Field Services Engineers on advanced and complex troubleshooting and technical fixesCooperate with the internal stakeholders and interlocutorsMaintain effective quality systems and programs compliant with ISO 9001 standard according to the GE Service Quality Policy StatementQuality Specific Goals :Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual Quality Management System Quality Management Policy Quality Goals and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type / positionComplete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlinesIdentify and report immediately customer quality or compliance concerns to the Quality Organization.Required Qualifications :Degree in Chemistry Nuclear Engineering Physics Biomedical Engineering Electronic Engineering IT Engineering or similar field or High specialization technical Diploma and a relevant experience on the field and with the customers.2 years of experience in troubleshooting diagnosing and repairing mechanical electromechanical and / or electronic equipment rather Cyclotrons and synthesizer modules.Comprehensive knowledge of a specific modality (Radiopharmacy preferred) or multi-modalities extensive knowledge and experience of add name of specific modalities needed machineries in particularExcellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearlyExpert in interacting with the Customer drive positive relationships ensure satisfactionBased in Milan Bologna as preference or able to relocateAvailable to travel (90%) Italy UE and extra-UE.Ability to work under pressionFlexibility and adaptability to different working conditions and schedule changesFluent in Italian and EnglishPreferred Qualifications :Ability to show self-initiative & motivation and to work independently with minimum directionExperience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service processChange agent and process orientedExperience with cyclotrons and radiopharmacy synthesizer modulesRadiochemistry and Radioprotection SkillsIT & connectivity skillsInclusion and DiversityGE HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
