Field Service Support – Milano, Italia
Overview: The Field Service Support role is the primary contact for deployment and monitoring of Road Zipper projects, Road Safety Products, and Road Marking Tape in the EMEA region. Based in Italy, responsibilities include on-site training, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support for equipment and systems.
Responsibilities:
Build positive relationships with regional managers and customers through various communication channels.
Serve as the technical expert for system troubleshooting, corrective actions, and sourcing parts.
Coordinate with project managers to meet contractual obligations.
Act as liaison for equipment refurbishment communication.
Document interactions and maintenance activities using MS Office, SalesForce, and Smartsheet.
Ensure clear and timely communication with all stakeholders.
Conduct on-site or remote training for customer operators.
Perform maintenance on lease machines as needed.
Promote safety and operational excellence, participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain barrier storage yards within the region.
Support EMEA distributors with training, support, and installation checks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum five years of heavy equipment maintenance experience; 10 years preferred.
Experience with highway infrastructure and Road Zipper systems is a plus.
Experience in customer relations, project leadership, and training.
Knowledge of electro-mechanical and hydraulic systems is advantageous.
Proficiency with MS Office, SalesForce, and Smartsheet is a plus.
Road safety or construction background preferred.
Ability to work independently and in teams.
Strong organizational skills and adaptability.
Languages: Italian, English, and German.
Physical Requirements:
Heavy lifting up to 25kg.
Extended periods of standing, bending, and climbing.
Varying shift schedules and extensive travel (50-70%).
Exposure to diverse environmental conditions and chemicals.
