Collegio alla Querce, Auberge Resorts Collection, a former cultural institution and much-beloved boarding school, is undergoing an extensive transformation to revive its storied and romantic history, dating back to the 16th century. As Auberge’s third European destination, Collegio is a delight for design lovers and gourmands alike. The property features three adjacent original buildings with 83 rooms, an original chapel and theater, a library, two restaurants, and a bar that was once the school’s principal’s office. Surrounded by old-growth cypress and soaring oak trees, the grounds boast expansive lawns, five levels of terraced Baroque gardens, a pool, and a garden bar and restaurant. Visitors come here for relaxation or adventure—and leave utterly enchanted.We are seeking a versatile Engineering Supervisor who can lead and train engineering and landscape team members across technical and non-technical areas. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing projects from start to finish and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair all hotel systems, including HVAC&R, laundry, kitchen equipment, water and wastewater systems, carpentry, tile, plumbing, painting, and minor automotive repairs.Assume responsibilities of the Director of Engineering in their absence.Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel fire, water, sewage, and irrigation systems.Respond promptly to guest requests and emergency situations.Follow established safety procedures and log all essential information in engineering logs.Participate in emergency on-call duties.Qualifications:Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience as an Engineer or Maintenance Technician, preferably in a hotel or property management environment.High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training preferred.Ability to operate all hotel systems and related equipment.Familiarity with vendors, replacement parts, materials, and tools.Decisiveness and action-oriented approach under the guidance of the Director of Engineering.Ability to read and follow technical instructions and safety labels.Proficient in English communication with guests, colleagues, and management.
