Due to the nature of the travel, the base location is flexible in Italy.The Employee Relations Manager (ERM) is an important role within the EU EXR (Employee Experience and Relations) Field organization, supporting the Country EXR team. This position assists in driving ER activities and initiatives across on the road (OTR) operational business lines within a specific country geography. The primary focus is to support EXR operational excellence, goals, and strategy while addressing the ER needs of the country.The ER Manager works closely with Ops, DSPM and other key in-country stakeholders to support the execution of the country-specific ER strategy. This role involves assisting in the implementation of strategies to address country labour relations challenges for business lines. This is a full-time position that will require significant travel throughout Italy (up to 50% of the time) and beyond on occasion, sometimes with little or no notice.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree and professional experience in employee relations, labor relations, or labor/employment lawFluency in Italian and English (CEFR C2)Knowledge of Italian labor and employment lawExperience in project management within a matrix environmentPreferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in Law, Human Resources or related fieldExperience working with third-party contractor workforcesExperience in distribution, logistics and/or transportation industriesStrong analytical, communication, and writing skillsAbility to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environmentsFlexibility and good organizational skillsAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
