The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team seeks a skilled Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customer technical and business objectives. You will be a key player driving customer success, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities:

Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and reusable artifacts.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years in cloud architecture and implementation.
3+ years design, implementation, consulting experience with distributed applications.
3+ years software development tools and methodologies.
Active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS experience with proficiency in services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation.
Professional level AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional).
Experience with automation scripting (Terraform, Python).
Knowledge of security/compliance (HIPAA, GDPR).
Strong communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
5+ years in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, networking, and technology/software sales consulting.
Professional experience deploying, operating solutions on AWS, including migration to cloud and federal government security requirements.

Location: Must work from one of the specified locations or customer sites at least 1+ days a week; this is not a remote position.
Security clearance requirement: must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency served.
Benefits: Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, parental leave, and more. Base salary range for this position: Colorado $131,300–$177,600; National $118,200–$204,300.
